3 WAYS TO WEAR THE DENIM OVERALLS [PT.2]
Posted On May 8th, 2014 by Candice PantinWithout realizing it this outfit turned out to be all kinds of shade of grey. Not as racy as the infamous aforementioned phenomena, I’m going mode modest for the second installment on how to wear the denim overalls this spring. I’m all about contrast dressing and this look represents just that: pairing cropped with not, chill with chic, newbies with an oldie-but-goody. Unlike the first look, this time around I’m styling the laid-back overalls with a more polished piece like this long waistcoat. I just love how the pinstripes instantly pulls everything together and acts as a smart balance to the cropped denim over-piece. The latter has been in my closet close to 10 years now- can it be considered vintage yet? Personal style is cultivated with unique items that are fashionable and can stand the test of fads. So be mindful the next time you have an urge to fashion purge! And can we have a round of applause for these metallic strappy heels and the cool factor that they bring tied around the overalls! Not the easiest to strut in but to that I say: Pffff!
