The Art of Not Aging

Recently I turned a year older- I’ll keep the actual digits to myself thank you very much. This very rebuke alone is quintessentially my sentiment on how I feel about aging. It sucks! One of the blatant reminders comes courtesy of Facebook daily memories where every once in a while I’ll go down memory lane and reminisce on a bushy tale version of my yesterself followed by spending the next few minutes staring in the mirror looking for that culprit wrinkle and manually tightening the skin on my face revealing an instant nip-tuck which I’m still contemplating to have in the next decade or so. Though I’m often told I look not a day over 25 (which I am if you’re asking because my state of oblivion is currently bliss hehe), I’m like most women, I’m holding on to my youthful glow with dear life. But honestly, it really comes down to lifestyle choices. You know all the frivolous things that seem so fun at the time but comes with a fleeting instant gratification dread – yes looking at you late night dancing like it’s 1999! But hey, that’s the beauty of Life, learning to balance out the serenity to the shenanigans. Luckily there are beauty products that help with the art of not aging, or at least aging gracefully like skincare line Kiehl’s. Last weekend I had the pleasure to a Bromont ski day where the brand invited other lovely ladies and myself to discover their latest line of nature-powered masques. I’ll be sharing my experience in the next little while. In the last year I’ve become a genuine fan of Kiehl’s. I relish my beauty routine of lathering, smoothing and dabbing their products on my visage. Everytime I use their products, I honestly feel like I’m slowing down the age of time and telling gravity: Come at me bro!
